Ok kiddos, I was looking around online and was throwing things together and just having a fun time creating flags and heralds. Then I put a sun over erect wings and said "wow. That's neat." Then I remembered all the "non-Kieran" buzz going around Lavalon, threw the southern cross into an L and slapped that above my new creation. I colored the whole thing and I'm pleased with what I have. I think it would look better surrounded by a laurel wreath, but I couldn't find a good gif image of one that I could color to my liking. So if Jon has one, feel free to slap that onto my design and see how you like it. Here's my seal design:

Oh, for an explanation, the wings symbolize freedom (free as a bird, anyone?) and the sun represents progress. I forget where I got the idea for the sun representing progress, but I remember hearing a comparison once. The southern cross is, as we all know, symbolic of Polynesia, Australia, etc. etc. and the L is for Lavalon.

I dunno, this may sound a bit mean, but that sun scares me.

The sun is the same one on the Argentinean flag....when it's smaller, it doesn't look that bad. I just had it big so you could see it better. I'm sorry if I scared you with my sun, Neem.

Yeah, I've always kinda found suns with faces eerie also.
And, random smart person fact of the week: The sun pictured on the Argentinean flag is called the "Sun of May".

interesting... i wonder why May?
maybe if it were just a plain, stylized sun?

A plain sun is fine... but the face just messes with me

True... the sun looks blank. My little brother walked by and he was wondering why the sun is flying, and if you think about it, it's kinda funny.

Tell him it's the sun chariot of Apollo. I'll throw the L into the sun and see what it looks like.
