Nate, is that sarcasm?
Actually I'd like it to be a darker shade of green, more like the wreath used at the top of these forums.

The problem I have is that if we start changing cultural things, we will find ourselves with no culture at all, or one that is not as rooted in history .
I agree, great design.

I like the design, but like Nate, I want to get away from the eucalyptus. And we won't lose our culture by getting rid of references to Eucalyptus. We have other bits of culture onto which we can hold. One thing doesn't destroy an entire culture. It's like replacing the eagle in America with a dragon. It might not get passed, but it doesn't destroy America's culture.

But if the eagle were changed to a dragon, what else might change? Would the president be replaced with a Chinese Debt Repayment Administrator?
If we change our eucalyptus, many things would begin to change (I think they already are, and the Bagelcraticans enjoy doing that). Our name, our history, our government system, all our logos, our website. Our anthem could, after eucalyptus being banned, more easily be changed to read "Hail, Natopia: our loving Overlords! Hail, Natopia: let us beat our plowshares into swords! Oh, Natopia, keep us lowly! Lavalon, land of the poor!"

Hey, hey, hey, no need to get nasty. That anthem does sound lovely though... Speaking as a Bagelcratican, how do you know what I enjoy?

Speaking as a Natopian i am GREATLY offended by such a comment xon... and i am a Natopian first and foremost and take your insult personally. Your continuous insults against Bagelcraticans AND Natopia disgust me.

I didn't realize that it mattered so much to you that we were from Natopia. I can't even start to understand why you dislike Natopia and Bagelcraticans so much.

I don't hate Natopia and I don't hate the Bagelcraticans. I do dislike unnecessary changes to our culture that make Lavalon less like Lavalon. The name change and the eucalyptus ban were both provoked by the Bagelcraticans. I don't know what will become of us. It did cross my mind that Lavalon may be becoming a kind of "New Lavalon".
I apologize if my sarcasm was insulting. I do think it begs some important questions about our direction as a culture, though.

Well, darn, my last post was riddled with errors. What I meant to say was (half-jokingly) Lavalon may be becoming more like a "new Natopia".
I apologize.

Wait a minute, you were the one who wanted the name change in the first place.
And if I'm not mistaken, there is no eucalyptia ban.
You know what you need to do... make up your mind and stick with it. You can't just say that you want Lavalon to not have Kieran stuff and then say that you don't mind it.
Lavalon's so different from Natopia, I don't even see how you can create correlations between them.
And guess what, if you don't like unnecessary changes, then don't try doing them yourself. You want me to name the countless time that you do that?
You know, I don't really get annoyed that easily, but even if you don't admit it, I think you've got this thing against Natopians and Bagelcraticans.
