Resolved by the Cultural Policy Council of Lavalon,
1.1 The eucalyptus plant, or any parts thereof, shall not be used in any official capacities in the national government. 1.2 The Republic of Lavalon may not incorporate any parts of a eucalyptus plant into any national symbols.
I made sure to prohibit it in the national government only, if a province of Lavalon wanted to officialize it, I think that would be OK. I motion for debate.

I'd support it. That way, Xon can have his Eucalyptus, and we can have our things. But it still doesn't resolve the national symbol issue.

The monkey. I'm telling you, it's great. Or a turtle. Seriously. Two of the best animals out there

So I have something to root for if the majority bans the eucalyptus plant, might I suggest the turkey as our national animal and its feathers in the place of the eucalyptus plant?

it really shouldnt be anything exclusivly native to a specific place.... unless we can think of a really good reason as to why the flamingo symbolizes Lavalon.
i was half-joking about the flamingo coz xon said something about the feathers, and flamingos have pink feathers... and.... yeah....
