Very interesting, I must say. Henzelli has finally managed to forge an actual party with actual control. Unfortunately, you have just handed over the Chancellorship to my friend Carson.
I would hate to take that as a threat, but that "unfortunate" business of Carson being Chancellor is only "unfortunate" if he is your puppet. In either case, he has very limited power, and he does not have the power to stop a vote from going against any agenda you might have forced on to him. He is impartial and I respect that. I do not believe it was "unfortunate" in the slightest.
Now that the Bagelcraticans aren't in power, and the Socialists are, perhaps I can negotiate more easily. Perhaps I will withdraw some of my demands. I want a show of power, though, from the Socialists that demonstrates that they are REALLY in control and not just puppets of the still-eminent former Bagelcratican party members.
We are not puppets of the Bagelcrats, and we are not your puppets. Withdraw your demands if you will. You are not a citizen of Lavalon and your demands carry no merit. But we will not give a "show of power" to appease you.
If I were you, Henzelli, I would start forging alliances with the other remaining parties, and cut your political enemies out of the picture. Secure a majority in the General Assembly, then push your agenda.
Just some political advisio for you guys from someone who's been there before. Oh, and keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

Though the Socialist Party has allied and caucused in the past, we are currently a free-standing party. Leave the political wheeling and dealing to those who have not disgraced themselves with it. We will do fine standing by ourselves. If we lose power, so be it. But we will not ally to become puppets.
