Alright, since I am now the head of Lavalon University, I will now be attempting to create some sort of order and "officalness" to course material and how classes are done.
Basically, each person interested in starting a course at the University must submit a course material. This material will be organized into Chapters, which will be organized into Units, each Unit having 3 to 5 chapters. Each Chapter will have a following test, with an answer key provided, allowing students to test themselves.
There will be an Exam after the end of each Unit, which will count towards the student's final grade. The Professor will grade these exams, and give a percentage on how many questions the student scored correctly. Scoring below 70% percent will result in an automatic re-test. If the student does not score above 70% on the re-test, the final grade for that exam will be the average score between the test and the re-test.
The final grade for the entire course will determined by the grade average of all exams taken. Scoring below a 70% final grade will result in an overall final exam being taken. If you do not pass this final exam, you will not be issued a diploma. There is no appeal. So, keep your grade high, and you won't have to deal with that
The type of degree you will receive will depend on how many units there are in the course:
Associate's Degrees will have 2 Units Bachelor's Degrees will have 4 Units Master's Degrees will have 6 Units Doctorate Degrees will have 8 Units
All course material will have to be stored on a website, except for exams, of course... Another job for me to do.

As per xon's and smith's wishes, standardization will be relaxed for the time being. However, if the university reaches a point where orginization rules are deemed necessary, they will be implemented as needed.
