I see that Xon has "unresigned", having edited his previous resignation from the Vice-Presidency.
Seeing that I never had accepted his resignation, I recognise his claim to the Presidency, and ask that you do so in your capacity as Chief Justice, should Xon recognise any duty to appoint you to this position.

For the next seven days, I will serve faithfully as President of Lavalon.
After that point, the Constitution or the Executive Branch Basic Law will HOPEFULLY be in place. Depending upon whether or not the Basic Law or the Constitution is what is in place at that time, I will either be at the behest of an election early next year or May 5 of next year. I don't plan on running for election to a first term.

Rest assured, Lavalon will now also have a vigourous Opposition.

Hopefully, someone more moderate than the extremists on both sides will run and get elected, bridging the gap and preventing partisanism from erupting in Lavalon. We are sorry to see you go, Zach. Welcome to the Presidency, President Vasroixe.

The extremists on both sides...hmm...you mean me and Xon? Lovely backhanded praise, Henzelli. But thanks for the good wishes and I'm certain the other extremist would like to thank you as well.

I accept the Presidency.
Thank you Zac. I see you aren't running next time but will support Tasneem. Very shrewd move.
Mr Klaas's term has been for the most part a time of postive growth for Lavalon. His resignation was not out of disgrace but out of necessity to break apart a political-governmental deadlock. He is successful in that respect.
