My dearest friends,
While I was on vacation, I had a lot of time to think. After a day, one thought kept on occurring, over and over again: “I need to get my priorities straight. What is truly important in my life?”
So I thought. I thought about my personal life, my education, my future. Then, I started to think about all the time I spent on the internet.
“Alright.” I said to myself. “Of all the things I do online, which is the most important?”
After listing over a dozen different things, something became obviously clear: Nothing else I do online has the more value and future worth then my work within the Republic of Lavalon.
Being Lavalonian has allowed me to understand how much we, as humans, have the intrinsic power to change our surroundings for the better. Think about how much could be accomplished if every single person on the planet could understand their own value and worth as a vessel of change.
I believe that Lavalon could do many great things, but only if we have a more unified purpose. This Republic needs to have a goal, other then just creating more laws and bureaucracy that serve no purpose but to make more things for us to do.
Matthew asked for a more political Regency.
Be careful what you wish for.

Your Excellency,
I too am pleased to see you staying! Also, I like the change in the spelling of your name. Quite French! ;D

Well, Christophé has always been french, but I found out that, if you pronounce it correctly, the E is silent unless it has the "squiggly thingy".

I saw the accent mark, noticed it as new, and realized I'd been mistakenly pronouncing your name with a terse Russian accent for far too long.
I think you guys need a one-sentence purpose statement. You should take that and run with it. Don't micromanage, but do everything to fulfill a single vision. A vision of peace, a vision of heraldry, a vision of chivalry..whatever you want. I am resisting the urge to make political comments here, considering my previous promise.
Whatever you do for Lavalon, best of luck Jon, and I hope it becomes possible.

Awwww.....aren't we all a bunch of post-idealists? A single setence vision statement around which our entire nation will be run.....Ahhhh bliss.....I believe Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, Mao's China, and the British Empire all ran on idealistic single-sentences as well....let's add our name to the list. I'm glad to see you charged with energy, Jon. I've been pronouncing your name sorta-kinda French....but without the "ay"-sound on the end. We'll see where you go with your newfound prioritized Lavalonian experience. Good luck.
