Again, I'm opening registration for the course. We will discuss Eastern Asia during World War II, with a focus on Japan and Korea, which was occupied by Japan during WWII, before moving on to talk about the rise of communism in Asia and the Chinese civil war. We'll wrap up with a discussion on the modern Middle East and factors leading up to the American war on terror. If you want to sign up, you need to do so in this thread with your name and e-mail by February 20. Foreigners welcome. The course will be during the month of March. EDIT: A syllabus is now available. Check out www.freewebs.com/ulavalon_smithEdit 2 - Oops: I wrote "a syllabus is not" available instead of "now available!"
