In light of a recent departure, I appoint Carson Smith to fill in the office of Chief Justice.
The new Associate Justice and Presiding Judge of the Adminstrative Court is now Bradon Sullivan.
I appoint Bartolomew Henzelli to fill in the Secretary of the Interior position.
These appointments take effect immediately

I'll have to take a look at the law to see what my job is, exactly... and neem, do you not mean secretary of state?
And Henzelli, you'll need to mkae a choice on whether to keep me in the position of Undersecretary of State, assuming that is what neem meant.

First off, the judicial appointments need to be approved by Hezelli (the Vice-President) before they take effect.
No, Akhi, she doesn't mean Secretary of State. I'm staying on as Sec. of State, but Nate was the Secretary of the Interior.

I'm not asking to be either, I just asked to be an ambassador...

Mr. Pillalamarri,
I apologize for the confusion. I did not mean to imply that you were seeking appointment to either position. I am the person responsible for ambassadorial positions, and I will give appointing you as Ambassador to Antica some thought. At this point, I am not opposed to it but just want to check with the Cabinet, etc.

Because of recent events and events that have occurred in the past that threaten, even now, to open old wounds, and because of the close ties between Brandon and Avalonia, I have many, many, many reservations about approving this appointment. I could refuse and we would have to find someone else, or I could make everything nice and streamlined and simply say yes. I am, as of now, undecided. I will either deny or approve this appointment within a few days. For now, it's still up in the air.

Have I ever been involved with any other entity that was an annoyance to Lavalon? The first part makes me curious...
Also note that I am a citizen of both, you could barely say I "betrayed" Lavalon since I joined Avalonia first, and tend to side with tolerance toward Lavalon when Matthew wanted to be inconvenient (Yes, I understand it is my power to dump Avalonia's ban of Lavalonians, but now I consider it Matthew's micronation over mine and want him to run it instead of me, so I interfere as little as possible. I have considered dumping the embargo, however, especially since it seems like Matthew doesn't want to follow it.

Excuse me, but I can understand your qualms about Brandon, but is there any reason why my appointment can't go through? I think I've proven myself worthy and dedicated to Lavalon, regardless of what I do in other nations...
(In any event, I no longer hold Avalonian citizenship.)

Ha, that's funny, I wonder why he didn't approve that

I really can't see what's all that funny. In fact, I'm a bit offended. Henzelli has seen full well that I am very dedicated to Lavalon and always have been--even when I was a citizen of Avalonia--an d he has also seen my dedication in New Germany.

i think henzelli's been stressed out a lot with work and life, im totally sure he just overlooked it... otherwise he wouldve given a reason why he didnt appoint you. a brutally honest and mean truth, henzelli-style
