Your Excellency, As I discussed in the Cafe, once way Citizen Xon and I discussed to recruit new citizens to Lavalon was banner ads. I have created one such banner and would like you to approve it so I can begin putting it up in appropriate websites and possibly submitting it to banner ad exchanges.

Emm... I... Dunno.
In all actuality, that is a realy crappy banner add.
However, I don't know if I could make a better one, since I don't have an application for making animated gifs...
Anybody wanna comment on it? I can't make up my mind just yet.

It is basic, and it has all those other macro flags on it . It serves its purpose though.

In all actuality, that is a realy crappy banner add. I know. However, that seems to be the trend these days with banner ads. If anyone can do better, be my guest.

I like the ad, except for ONE BIGGIE:
Flashing words aren't enough to catch most people's attention. Make the globe dance. Invert its colors.
Here's one: a picture of George Washington, followed by a picture of Benjamin Franklin, followed by an outline of "you" with a question mark inside. "Be a statesman, become a Lavalonian citizen!"
If that's not so good, just slap a bunch of eucalyptus on there. That'll grab my attention, don't know about other people. ;D

Wow, weird things get your attention.
Neither of his ideas would get my attention, but that's just me

They're wacky. ;D
Or, just make an ad so horrible that it can't be ignored.
