It's been over two months since there were any posts in this forum, and everything kind of died down because no one was really interested any more. Is this project worth continuing? If so, I can do most of the work myself, but want to know if anyone is still interested.

Well... what was this project about?

The idea was to create a website that would be a sort of welcome page for new micronationalists. It would be a site that generally promoted micronationalism and be a multinational, neutral effort. That way, people could say to a friend, "You know, have you ever thought of becoming a micronationalist? I think you'd really enjoy it. Check out http://www..." Their friend would go and check out the welcome page, and look through the nation profiles on that site and then join one that sounded interesting.

Well, I'm interested, so if nobody else is, I can make a forum at Sullifree, or Faronia, if you prefer... Doesn't matter to me, we could still link to it. Anyway, I will help.

No, I am perfectly able to handle this myself. I do not need you to make a forum in Sullifree and start taking credit for everything I've done thus far. This is MY project. We don't always need Micronations Now involved. Please do not make any forum in Sullifree.

Carson, where did I say "Micronations Now?" I was not involving this at all. I'm referring to the possibility that noone is interested in Lavalon. I also said Faronia could do it as well, and I said I wanted to HELP, if you needed it (and you asked for it so you clearly do), but fine, if you don't need my help, or if you insist on jumping on my like that, then it can definately be your project! Go ahead, you don't need me!

I apologize if I upset you, but I'm starting to get annoyed with a way you have of doing things: people are taking a while, so you offer to "help out," but you end up taking over and putting your name on it. In any event, I will get to work on this. Hopefully we can have it put out in time to get some new citizens before the expected summer lulls....

The only thing I can think of taking over is Avalonia, and it was Matthew's idea, not mine, and at first I was reluctant on even that, not thinking it best for Avalonia, but later Matt gave me reasons and I approved. In any case, Avalonia was not really taken over, and I still consider it a seperate micronation, so I can't think of one real situation where this is true.

summer lulls? I would think that Summer would be when we had the msot activity! I know I'll have more chances to be active...

Believe it or not, micronationalism has traditionally been a lot less active in the summer. While middle and high school students like you and me can be more active, a number of college students depend on school computers for internet access so are not able to be online much if at all over summer vacation. Things usually start to slow down a bit around this time too as a lot of kids are studying for and taking final exams.

I hope this project isn't dead. It was a good idea.
To be honest, I haven't done anything here because I was expecting for you to take the lead. As you mention, this is your project. If you tell me what part I or Shireroth have to play in this, it would be much easier to go through with it.

This project may be dead along with Lavalon. I suggest, Carson, that you move this to Faronia.

We really don't need a forum any more anyway. I don't think Lavalon is dead, by the way.
